    Liverpool rises as the champion after winning the final of the Champions League against Tottenham Hotspur. The final was played at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid, Spain on 1 June 2019. Liverpool won their sixth European Cup and their second of the Champions League era. Mohammad Salah scored from a penalty at 2’ and Divock Origi scored at 87’. Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk was named Champions League final man of the match. The 2018–19 UEFA Champions League was the 64th season of Europe's premier club football tournament organized by UEFA. Liverpool played really well throughout the whole tournament.

As Robertson also has 11 assists, the Liverpool's fullback duo officially has become the first in the Premier League history to reach a double-digit number of assists.They are in the top of the Premier League in the number of assists, right behind Fraser with 14, Eden Hazard with 15, and Christian Eriksen with 12 assists.
